On 29th March, Vintage, Chartered Financial Planners will be hosting ‘Brexit on Teesside: An Expert Outlook’ with guest speakers Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen and investment expert Neal Bailey of Invesco, to give our clients, connections and local people a better understanding of how Brexit might affect them.
The event will cover the outlook for Teessiders but with a focus on the future of investing. This date is significant as this is the day that Britain is scheduled to officially leave the European Union, though as it stands, no one knows quite what that will look like yet.
Ben Houchen has been Mayor of the Tees Valley since being elected on May 2017. His recent achievements include bringing Durham Tees Valley Airport back into public ownership, securing 1,420 acres of land at the former Redcar steelworks site for redevelopment and supporting the creation of thousands of jobs across our region. On March 29th, he will explore the possibilities and opportunities that Britain leaving the EU will bring for our local businesses and communities.
Neal Bailey is a presenter for investment management firm Invesco who he joined as a strategist in 2005 before going on to become Head of Sales for Insight Investments. Neal will discuss what he believes to be the future of investments for Brexit and beyond
The event will be held at the prestigious Grand Marquee in the grounds of Wynyard Hall from 11.30am – 2.30pm, with lunch and light refreshments provided to attendees.
Tickets can be bought via Eventbrite, by following the link on www.vintage-fp.com/brexit and places cost £10 per ticket.Tags: Ben Houchen, brexit, Investments, teesside
